Des élèves de la 8ème à l’École Dr Knox se sont engagés dans une enquête multidisciplinaire portant sur le sujet de comment nous pouvons tous devenir des agents de changement. L'équipe d'enseignantes, composée de Josée Arcand, Shaelynn Anderson et Janine Chabot, ont préparé, avec intention, des expériences et des situations d'apprentissages qui ont pu mener les élèves à découvrir de nouvelles perspectives, des moments de conscientisation et un éveil à nos responsabilités comme citoyens du monde.

Changemakers at École Dr. Knox


Grade 8 students at École Dr. Knox Middle School engaged in a multidisciplinary inquiry into the subject of how we can all become change makers. The team of teachers, made up of Josée Arcand, Shaelynn Anderson and Janine Chabot, intentionally prepared experiences and learning experiences that led the students to discover new perspectives and awareness around our responsibilities as citizens of the world.

This is fantastic! It’s inspiring to see Dr. Knox students engaging in such meaningful learning. Reminds me of a project I did in school about local food systems. We even created a simple video game about sustainable farming using Scratch. Maybe the Dr. Knox students could explore game design too? There are some cool platforms for kids, like Eggy Car, that teach coding basics in a fun way. It could be a great way to communicate their ideas for change!
